Formed in 2001, NEOgas do Brasil was the “test bed” for the NEOgas HPU technology.  Early prototypes were built and tested in Brasil.  Not only was the Company’s technology commercialized, but transports were designed and built capable of delivering up to 7,200 cubic meters (254,257 cubic feet) of CNG to remote off-pipeline locations.  NdB was the first company in Brazil to receive authorization from the National Petroleum Agency for the compression, transport and distribution of natural gas (off-pipeline) on a national level.

NEOgas do Brasil not only sells equipment, but provides fee based compression, transportation and dispensing of natural gas to a diverse client base in dozens of projects in the NGV and industrial CNG markets.

 In April of 2008, NEOgas sold its initial operating subsidiary, “NEOgas do Brasil,” to the Global Environment Fund, a US-based private equity group targeting clean technologies. 

NEOgas do Brasil is licensed to provide the HPU technology to all of South American and the Portuguese speaking countries of Africa.
